Campus Meal Plan

The university’s food service department will be selling meal cards at the information desk at the Morris University Center (directly across from the GCER registration table) on July 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Anyone may purchase a meal pass whether or not they are staying at the dorms.

Meal cards are basically pre-paid debit cards that can be used at any university restaurant (Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Chick-Fil-A), the dining hall, Starbucks, the “Union Station” convenience store, or campus vending machines. Each card will be preloaded in the amount of $125. Meal cards can be shared among people if you wish.

Meal cards can be used from July 7th - July 12th. No refunds will be given on any unused balance and you cannot purchase meal cards in amounts smaller than $125.

Campus Parking Information

Attendees staying in the dorms can purchase parking passes at $2 per day through the dorm reservation form. Those pre-paid parking passes will be held at the front desk of the dorms and can be picked up at check in.

For general conference parking (Wednesday-Sunday), parking passes will be available for purchase Tuesday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at the information desk in the Morris University Center (directly across from GCER registration table). Guests can purchase a parking pass for $10 that will be valid from Wednesday, July 7th through Sunday, July 11th in the Student Activity Center lot, Bluff Hall lot and Lot B. The Bluff Hall lot and Lot B will not be ticketed on Tuesday, July 6th.

Campus Recreation Opportunities

For $5 a day, conference attendees can purchase a campus “affiliate” activity card at the Morris University Center information desk from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, July 6th - 9th. This card will give the holder access to the Student Fitness Center, which includes raquetball, basketball, tennis courts, swimming pool, climbing wall and fitness center as well as the outdoor pool (Cougar Lake Pool).

Student Fitness Center access for our program is available Wednesday, July 7th through Sunday, July 11th. The Cougar Lake outdoor pool is open daily from noon-6 pm. The Student Fitness Center is open M-F 6 am-9 pm and Sa-Sun noon-9 pm.
